The introduction of The Big Green Farm

The Big Blue Door have also, on occasions provided longer-term care to children and young adults that exceeds the short break stipulations, and in extreme circumstances, this may have required a longer transition period until a suitable solution could be found.  

My Life – My Choice, realised they were the best solution in these situations. They already understand and cater to the needs of the children and young adults attending their setting. So, after investment, time, dedication and a lot of hard work, the Big Green Farm was born. 

The Big Green Farm is a children’s home where children and young adults with disabilities live. It is located on 4 acres of farmland in the area of Knuzden. and is closely situated to local primary schools and is surrounded by a wide range of shops and parks. 

The large farmhouse has been renovated and adapted to cater for children and young people with disabilities and provides a safe, homely environment.
